I wanted something that is now unavailable, can I still order it as a Custom??"The answer? Maybe. If the item is limited edition, where I have a very small amount of fabric or custom buttons or something to make the set unique, then the question may very well be no, unless you are willing to settle for something a bit different. It depends on the amount of things we have left. Eyes and wigs are capable of being made, yes, though it may take a while longer than when we have stock available. Specific clothing with specialty prints may be unavailable until I order more or find more in the future. Unsure? Ask! Seriously, we have nothing better to do than answer your questions lately. I don't understand the measurements and whether your clothes fit my doll...?We can help you out! It's really simple to find out the measurements of your doll, and there are often others who have already done so online. If you're uncertain about the clothes that fit your doll, we also create customized ones! Be aware, most custom clothing, unless we have the same or similar doll, may not be an exact fit as we go off of a series of measurements rather than using the doll itself as a mannequin. We will always aim to be just a bit larger or exactly fitting the doll for our clothing, and much of the fabrics we use have some room for stretch, just in case. If this still makes you uncertain, we also offer a large discount (up to 45% off!) for purchasers who send us their doll bodies/torsos/hips-and-legs/etc. for custom-fitting. I want to order but do you take a long time to make it...?All of our custom ordered items DO take a while to create, it's a good quality item that we hope will last for a long time, so there is no getting around that. The up-side? We provide updates! Regular and semi-regular updates can be given as to your order and where it is in the lineup(if there is one) and we very often post our updates publicly on our Instagram account. Feel free to give us your instagram username so we can tag you in our update-posts!

What do you NOT make?As of December, 2018 we are still working on small items such as shoes/boots (it's a work in progress) and small accessories such as necklaces and hair extras like clips and pins. Our stock mostly consists of eyes, wigs, and clothing of all shapes, sizes, and styles. Keep checking back for more things we offer, it's a constant upgrade on here and our list of items is going to be growing a large amount in 2019! Ask us if you have a request for a special item, we know many folks who do custom bjd items and accessories like tails, crowns, furniture, and more!

Do you ship to_______?The short answer? All shipments can be done world wide!

Do you give Refunds?Refunds are available if: 1. 50% refunds are available is the PRE-MADE clothing you receive is visibly damaged and unwearable upon arrival to your home. -All clothing and items are photographed before and after packaging, before shipping, to ensure this does not happen. -In order to attain this refund, please videotape or photograph the opening of your parcel and send it (the video/photos and the parcel) back to us. 2. NO refunds are given for custom-created clothing, it often costs more to create than what you actually pay, and custom clothing is often made using the money that you give us to create it. 3. No refunds are given for Eyes or Faceups(when they are offered).

What happens if there's a problem with the item when I get it?Not all of our products are guaranteed to fit your doll, especially if they are pre-made. They may be too large or too small. These are not defects or damages, and we do not offer refunds for items like that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Any other issues with the item when you receive it will be due to delivery or travel, and we are not responsible for that UNLESS the item is entirely destroyed in some way. ie. stained with oil, torn in half, or covered in grease of some kind that does not wash out. All packages will be photographed before packaging and after, and photos will be sent to you to ensure that they are in perfect condition before being sent to you. Here's what you do: Let us know!! Take photos or a video of yourself opening the parcel you recieve! You do not personally need to be in the photo or video, just show us what the parcel looks like when you get it, before you open it. Often, damages will be visible outside of it, before you even reach your new item(s). Contact us at ButterflyDollsBJD@gmail.com and let us know what's happened. Send the parcel back to us if you can; we have things here that we may be able to use to salvage the item for you. If the item is entirely un-savable then we may offer to refund you 50% of your original purchase or 50-75% Off your next purchase from us with free tracking added to your shipping cost (and of course more sturdy packaging).

Do you have this color?We tend to work with solid colors and the odd pattern. If you have an idea for a custom piece, let me know! I have a fabric store pretty close by, and I can let you know if the piece is a possibility or other options that may be available. I am also willing to purchase fabric online if you are willing to wait longer for clothing completion.

Can you DYE my -insert clothing/doll/etc-That's a tricky question. If it's an item with a lot of decoration like beading and lace, then possibly. IF you know what fabric the clothes are made with and are alright with the possibility of the beads/zippers/lace/etc possibly ending up dyed in a similar shade as the clothing you sections, then yes! If not, then we recommend you place a custom order with the company you recieved the clothing from for custom coloration (or you know...ask us to do it). Doll dyeing is a no-go at this time as we would hate to accidentally mangle your doll in our experimentations. We have not done a dye before (as of December 2018) but we plan to do so with a special doll sometime in 2019, so please stay tuned!

Can you do custom shipments with tracking??All of our custom items are sent with tracking through Canada Post, we try to get you the best price AND safety for your item(s). From the smallest pair of eyes or accessories to all-out fullsets, we make absolutely certain that when it leaves us, it will be as safe as possible when travelling. You'll receive up-to-date information on the day it gets sent out, and the tracking number to go with it so YOU can track the parcel as it makes its way to you!
